Peder Bjorland (b. 1966) joined Statoil (later Equinor)in 1991 and has since then worked in downstream marketing and trading within oil and gas. Mr. Bjorland assumed his current position as Vice President Gas trading and optimisation 1 October 2020. Prior to this he headed the marketing and trading Natural Gas. He has previously held various leadership and professional positions in trading including , head of LNG, light ends and distillates and global responsibility of Gas Liquids. Peder Bjorland holds a Bachelor degree in Engineering and Economy at Agder University.
