Global Head of LNG Trading &Origination/BD at Uniper, Luis has had different roles since he joined Uniper (former E.ON Energy Trading) in December 2008:

from Lead LNG Trader, promoted to Head of LNG Trading in 2013 and taken over both the LNG Origination and Business Development roles since 2019.  

He is in charge of managing a team of LNG traders and originators in Dusseldorf, Singapore and Houston and the global optimization of the LNG portfolio of the company, both physical and financially, helping the business at Uniper to grow exponentially over the last few years.

Previously he worked at Iberdrola as lead gas & LNG trader for 7 years.
