Frédéric Barnaud was appointed Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of SEFE Securing Energy for Europe in February 2023.

Frédéric has more than 30 years of experience in the oil and gas sector, having served as Group CEO and CCO for various global energy and trading players. He also led major international negotiations for LNG supplies. Before joining SEFE, he was the Group Chief Strategy and Commercial Officer of Mercuria Energy Trading in Geneva, and prior to that, he was the Group CEO of Pavilion Energy Group in Singapore.

He holds a master’s equivalent from the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in Paris and was a research fellow at Oxford University’s Institute for Energy Studies. He is a member of the Singapore Institute of Directors and INSEAD International Directors Programme.
