Thyl Kint is a specialist in the technological, strategic, development, commercial, financing and management aspects of the entire gas and LNG value chain. He has 35 years professional experience in the oil and gas business, including executive and director roles, as well as responsibility for managing projects in excess of $2 billion. He is well versed in all aspects of gas field developments, LNG, FLNG, FSRU, SS-LNG, gas terminals, gas processing, pipelines and gas & LNG distribution networks and has a track record of innovative cost saving solutions. He currently works at the International Finance Corporation, which is the private sector financing arm of the World Bank, where he supports teams pursuing investments in the entire upstream, midstream and downstream gas and LNG value chain. Given fast-developing renewable energy technology and increased climate change concerns, IFC aims to be a leader in the deployment of gas as a transition source of energy, helping the developing world address its energy needs whilst minimizing cost, emissions and climate impact.
