Lukasz Lisicki

Directorate-General for Energy European Commission


Graduate of the Warsaw University European Centre and Warsaw School of Economics. He gained his professional experience working for companies in the area of regulatory and investment consulting for the energy sector and the EU Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER) in Ljubljana. From 2015 to 2016, he worked at the Ministry of Energy in the Department of Oil and Gas, where he mainly dealt with EU legislation in the field of energy security, the EU natural gas market and energy diplomacy issues. From 2016 to 2018 he served as Attached for Energy at the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Poland to the European Union in Brussels. He represented Poland in the meetings of the Energy Working Group of the EU Council. At the beginning of 2019, he started working, as a national expert, at the European Commission, Directorate-General for Energy, where he deals with the EU common market for electricity and natural gas. He is the author of publications on EU energy policy and economic interest advocacy in the EU.
